We focus on the assessment of wildlife communities and main drivers of the distribution of terrestrial fauna via large-scale camera trapping. We employ an advanced set of statistical methods, incorporating remote sensing, cadastre and land use data which enables us to take the history and presence of the landscape into an account both for conservationists and managers, state authorities and private sector. We put an emphasis on surveying the savannah and tropical forest biomes without legal protection (bio-corridors, peripheries of reserves, etc.).
