Research activities target a number of aspects of environmental geochemistry (soil geochemistry, modelling of adsorption processes, including the development of reaction-transport models, environmental isotopic geochemistry, study and development of new sorbents and remediation methods for contaminated soils), hydropedology (increase of soil water retention) and geochemical methods in paleoecology.
