Cooperation with the University of Oviedo

Martina Vítková performed a research stay at the Institute of Natural Resources and Territorial Planning (INDUROT) of the University of Oviedo, enhancing her cooperation with the research group of prof. José Luis R. Gallego. Several heavily contaminated mining sites in the Asturias region were visited. Thanks to Ana Díaz we could learn more about these sites, mercury pollution, and ongoing field experiments. The applied research is designed to test on-site available soil amendments to implement efficient and feasible remediation strategies.
