Manuel Teodoro et al. recently published an article focusing on the seasonal fluctuations of Zn, Pb, As and Cd contents in the biomass of selected grass species growing on heavily contaminated soils. Three plant species were studied, together with rhizospheric soil. Our results indicate that A. capillaris appears to be a good indigenous candidate for phytostabilization.
