To whom do I submit my Transcript of Records and request for recognition?
Course recognition is handled by the Faculty International Relations Office (in your case FZP), with which you were in contact from the initial selection to potential changes during your stay. Generally, the following courses ARE NOT recognized at the FZP: languages, physical education, sports courses, failed courses (grade "F", "4," etc.), and courses totally outside your field of study. Credits are recognized for credits, and state exam subjects must be replaced by those whose content is at least 75 % identical (in agreement with the teacher and the study department). Your completed courses from abroad are included (recognized and counted) in your study plan at FZP and based on the total ECTS amount in your study plan. It will be decided by the Study Affairs Office what you need to study additionally.
Procedure:
- Contact the faculty Erasmus coordinator at FZP
- Ask the foreign coordinator to send your Transcript of Records from abroad (either the original ToR by post or a scan by e-mail directly to the address of OMV CZU and FZP)
- Recognition of the courses is done on a faculty level - send the completed Learning Agreement Table C + D to the faculty coordinator for signing
- The courses are recognized, and the Erasmus study stay can be closed in UIS
After the state exams, your diploma supplement will include courses completed at the foreign university and not those that you were supposed to study at the FZP in the relevant period. Congratulations!
Note: Table C is just a copy of your Transcript of Records where you fill in all courses, also incomplete ones. Table D is only about the recognition at the faculty. Here the student cannot fill in sports, language courses, failed/incomplete courses, or courses that will not be recognized.
