Project No.2
(Leading researcher: Ing. Aleš Vorel, Ph.D.)
The intention is to develop and test an automatic detection system. The aim of the project is to develop a tracking system that will automatically and in the long term monitor the movement of elements in a simple linear (one-dimensional) network. The innovative system can enable permanent detection of objects moving in given networks. Alternatively, the use of technology can be inverse - it can help track the length of stationary occurrence. The system itself consists of a transmitting and receiving unit, communication between the elements is based on BlueTooth technology. Receiving units in the field are represented by a point system of detection elements so that the system independently monitors the movement of individual elements (transmitters) within the network. The whole system can thus ensure reliable and autonomous registration of elements in the network. It is precisely the possibility of detection by either automated systems or the possibility of monitoring by means of commonly available conventional means that will enable considerable adaptability of the whole system and possible future migration for monitoring in other fields of the industry (generally environmental protection or transport systems, etc.). The aim is therefore to create a utility model primarily for the detection of directions and frequency of propagation of general objects in a linearly defined space.
