The research team consisting of Miroslav Šálek, Vojtěch Kubelka, Martin Sládeček and Martina Nacházelová attended international conference held by International Wader Study Group in Ásbrú, Iceland, on 2-6 October 2015. Conference was attended by 124 participants from 17 countries. Our Czech team gave three poster and two oral presentation. On the last day, workshop titled “Wader productivity on agricultural land” was held. Within this workshop, research experience and results were discussed with representatives of important foreign institutions (Netherlands, Germany). Furthermore, meeting of research teams from central Europe was arranged on the planned symposium on farmland bird conservation. Our team succeed in establishing closer cooperation between Saxony and Czech team. Our researchers were also invited to participate on publication on monitoring of breeding waders.
