Abstract:
The project develops the methodological potential of integrating in-situ data with open access data sources in nature conservation. A project consists of the two case studies on two model bird species inhabiting different habitats (arable land/forest). Linking these data with satellite data and data from observation databases will provide detailed insight into the interactions of the model species with environment and allow extrapolation of the outputs to the Czech Republic. The project outputs will provide comprehensive application in the assessment of environmental risks to the occurrence of the model species, and enable planning and evaluation of conservation measures to support them. Free access to the outputs will allow the adaptation of the outputs to the protection of other species.
