Working together for a sustainable future: Let's be the change agents our planet needs!
Our planet is facing some big problems like climate change, loss of plants and animals, and too many people living in cities and using up resources like water and land. This affects things like our food, our health, and the environment around us.
That's why it's really important for us to start making changes now, to create systems that can continue to provide food, keep us healthy, and take care of the environment for the future. This is called sustainable, resilient, and inclusive food systems.
CZU aims to be part of a group of universities called LIFE that will work to make this happen by bringing together people from different places and fields to find new solutions. They will aim to teach the next generation of students and professionals how to make these changes happen and work with others to create a better world.
Therefore, based on 20 years of cooperation and a joint long-term strategy in the Euroleague for Life Sciences (ELLS), the leading life sciences and agriculture universities in Europe now joined to become a true European University“ called: "LIFE: Euroleague for Life Sciences”.
Partners:
CZU - Czech University of Life Sciences Prague, Czech Republic
WUR - Wageningen University and Research Centre, the Netherlands
SLU - Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, Sweden
UHOH - University of Hohenheim, Germany
NMBU - Norwegian University of Life Sciences, Norway
