Dear students,
let me inform you about the issuance of the new Rector´s Decision No. 30/2020 which determines the conditions of study and performance of work at the CZU as of 3rd December 2020. The Decision was published on the Currently COVID website and will also be sent to your school email. Please read the Rector's Decision carefully and do not hesitate to contact me should you have any questions.
In addition to the changes in connection with the release of the hygienic measures based on the generally binding legal regulation - in particular the Ministry of Health extraordinary measures concerning student accommodation and operation of sports venues- some of the measures concern the first-year students´ tuition.
In accordance with the Rector's Decision No. 30/2020, the Dean of the Faculty of Environmental Sciences CZU has decided that teaching by the end of the winter semester 2020/2021 (i.e until 18 December 2020) will take place in a contacless (online) form only, based on the current epidemiological situation, the advanced phase of the semester and well-functioning e-learning tools. At the same time, it is possible to carry out laboratory and experimental teaching in the final year of the Bachelor or Master study programmes if intended for the preparation of a final thesis, whilst meeting the condition of the presence of a maximum of 20 students. Furthermore, individual consultations are possible, examinations up to 10 person, and individual visits to the library. The entrance to the building must be arranged in advance with the relevant FES employee (final thesis supervisor, course examiner, etc.).
