Biography: Dr Iris Bohnet studied landscape architecture and planning at the Applied University Nuertingen, Germany and holds a PhD in landscape ecology from Imperial College, University of London, UK. After completing her post-doctoral research at the CSIRO (Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation) in Australia, she continued her research at the CSIRO and James Cook University. In 2019 she joined the Land Research Group as a senior researcher. She is working to improve planning, design and management that fosters development of sustainable multifunctional landscapes and seascapes through interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary research.
