Thanks to the support of the Prague City Hall this year we launched the Prague dragonfly monitoring project. There are many knowledge gaps about the distribution and biodiversity of dragonflies in our capital city, and we have decided to change that! Therefore, Insect Ecology Team members will visit various green and blue corners of Prague during the summer to observe these prehistoric organisms in their (un)natural environments. At the end of the summer, we will find which sites are the most species-rich and which are among the poorest. If you take a picture of any dragonfly in Prague, please upload it with its location to iNaturalist. We will include your observations in our final dataset.
