Spring management at Dívčí hrady have begun

On the slope below Dívčí hrady, we continue mowing some revegetated plants after grazing – including sprouts of invasive woody plants and especially blackberries. This will help goats grazing them close to the ground in the spring and we can suppress them as much as possible. The resulting biomass is manually removed and will serve as winter habitat for vertebrates and invertebrates...
