In the second half of April, two FŽP employees (Peter Kumble and Jakub Mlejnek) visited the University of Salford in Manchester, UK, to establish research and educational cooperation. Professor Mike Hardman professionally planned the entire program, including multiple meetings and field trips. During the visit, the concept for a combined double degree program in sustainable landscape planning was developed. The delegation also visited experimental sites that are utilized to carry out sustainable projects involving both urban and non-urban green infrastructure and local communities. We hope that our collaboration with the University of Salford will continue to grow and benefit both students and employees at both institutions
